Today's dose of Idiocy:
1. People really need to figure out how to use email. When HR sends out a broadcast email asking for address updates, there is no need to hit reply all. Not only do I not care about any one's address updates, hitting reply all is just a way to announce to the entire company that you are so stupid that you can't figure out how to send an email.
2. People really need to learn to operate kitchen appliances. Leaving an empty toaster oven unattended and set to broil is a recipe for a fire (hmm, maybe the Forces of Stupidity are on to something here), it is also a recipe for eye itching smoke and smelly melty burnt plastic. When you are done with using things that can potentially burn down the building shut them off, unless the plan was to actually burn down the building, in which case try plugging in that toaster in a less high traffic area so no one will discover the evidence until the entire office lights up like a roman candle.
